The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University well known as JNTU was formally built as a ‘The College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam’ and was comes into existence on 1946. On the startup it has a biggest campus area of 110 acres, and all over the area was filled with the mango trees. Later on 02-10-1972 the Director of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh takes the all control of collage and formed them as current JNTU under the act of legislature.
